BW Solicitors operates exclusively on a fixed fee basis. All fees are agreed in writing before work commences. No hourly billing. No surprise invoices. BW Solicitors is VAT registered. VAT at 20% is applicable to most of our services. However, VAT does NOT apply to entry clearance applications where the client is applying from outside the United Kingdom. We will confirm the VAT position applicable to your specific matter at the outset. Home Office fees, court fees and disbursements are payable separately and are not included in the professional fees set out below.

- All fees quoted are fixed and agreed in writing before work commences. You will always know the cost of your matter before we begin.
- BW Solicitors is VAT registered. VAT at the standard rate of 20% is applicable to most of our services where the place of supply is the United Kingdom. VAT does NOT apply to entry clearance applications where the client is applying from outside the United Kingdom. We will confirm the VAT position applicable to your specific matter before work commences.
- Where a matter is unusually complex or circumstances change significantly during the course of your matter, we will notify you in writing and agree a revised fee before continuing.
- Our fees reflect the expertise and experience of the fee earner handling your matter. The Principal Solicitor's hourly rate is £350 per hour; Solicitor £282 per hour; Paralegal £146 per hour.
- Telephone calls and emails are included within agreed fixed fees and are not billed separately, unless a matter is conducted on an hourly rate basis.
- This fee schedule is reviewed annually and was last updated in April 2026.
